What needs to happen to ensure that the plan is implemented?

If all has gone well with the plannng process there should still be full engagement from all the stakeholders in making it happen.  However, at this point it is worth checking that all the conditions for success are in place:

• Does the plan still have a mandate from top management?
• Are the stakeholders still signed up to its goals and outcomes?
• Have we fully addressed the organisational development issues in bringing about the changes?
• Do we have the required financial resources to carry out the planned actions?

If the answer to any of these question is no, it will be necessary to revisit some of the earlier stages of the plan to make sure that they are put back in place.
